The name New Designer Homes carries that legacy, with “New” representing not only the founder, but a continued commitment to fresh thinking, personalised design, and luxury homes built to stand the test of time.
A Natural Evolution
In 2022, the business transitioned to new ownership under Matt Turton, now Managing Director & Builder.
Matt’s journey with New Designer Homes spans over 15 years as Head Carpenter, followed by 2 years as Supervisor — making his transition into ownership a natural progression.
Having worked closely with Graham and the NDH team for so many years, Matt has an in-depth understanding of the business, its values, and the level of quality clients have come to expect. For many long-term and repeat clients, this continuity has been incredibly important — knowing the same dedication, craftsmanship, and attention to detail remains at the heart of every build.
Matt is known for his hands-on approach and genuine passion for bringing people’s dream homes to life. You’ll often find him on-site, personally overseeing projects to ensure every home is delivered to the highest possible standard.

And our commitment doesn’t end at handover. We return 12 months later for a maintenance check, ensuring your home continues to perform exactly as it should.
